Experience the Vibrant Blend of Gospel and Dance with Thami Jay’s ‘Essence of Faith’.

Introducing “Essence of Faith,” the latest album by Gospel House artist Thami Jay, which is destined to leave a lasting impression. This captivating and danceable collection is brimming with laidback four-to-the-floor beats and vibrant Afrobeat rhythms, providing a unique perspective on Christianity. Thami Jay states, “Unlike typical gospel music, this release combines the joy of dance with praising the Lord, bringing the essence of the church to the streets.”

Listeners are treated to lively tracks featuring mesmerizing chants and harmonies like “The Water of Life” and “Sincela Amandla.” Additionally, they can delve into more introspective and vocally-focused songs such as “Saviour and Healer” and “Ulcendo Lwami,” passionately sung by Thami Jay himself. Each track, from the self-produced recordings to the meticulously engineered elements, offers a wealth of discoveries, including lively staccato synths, groovy saxophone licks, and jazzy piano sections that will leave you yearning for more.

“Essence of Faith” is yet another remarkable release from Thami Jay, whose goal is to inspire listeners: “Through this album, I hope to instill in the listeners the belief in God’s existence, the motivation to persevere and trust that everything will work out for the best. I encourage them to hold onto their faith and find inspiration.” If you’re seeking an Afro-house boost this summer, be sure to give it a listen.
